Inertsus

Inertsus ehk klastri sisesummade ruutude summa (WCSS - Within-Cluster Sum of Squares) on klastri kohesiivsuse mõõdik, mis kvantifitseerib, kui tihedalt on punktid koondunud oma klastri tsentroidide ümber. Madalamad väärtused viitavad kompaktsematele, kohesiivsematele klastritele. Inertsus on k-keskmiste klastrimise peamine otstarbefunktsioon ja on olnud selle meetodi kasutuselevõtust saadik fundamentaalne mõõdik.
