Multistatsoverlevelsesmodel

Multistatsmodellen er en generaliseret overlevelsesramme, formaliseret i Andersen og Keidings arbejde og udbredt i biostatistisk praksis af Putter, Fiocco og Geskus (2007). Den modellerer individer, der over tid bevæger sig gennem flere distinkte sundhedstilstande – for eksempel rask, syg og død. En separat hazardfunktion estimeres for hver mulig overgang, og overgangssandsynligheder genfindes via produktintegralet af de kumulative overgangsintensiteter.
