Spearman rangkorrelationskoefficient

Spearman rangkorrelationskoefficienten (ρ) er et ikke-parametrisk mål for den monotone sammenhæng mellem to variable. Introduceret af Charles Spearman i 1904, konverterer den rå observationer til rangordninger og måler, hvor konsekvent den ene variabel stiger, når den anden stiger, uden at antage en normalfordeling eller et lineært forhold.
