Panel Local Indicators of Spatial Association udvider Anselins LISA-statistikker — oftest Local Moran's I — til paneldatasæt, idet der identificeres spatiale klynger og outliers på hver lokation over flere tidsperioder. Ved at anvende lokale autokorrelationsmål gentagne gange over tid kan forskere detektere, om mønstre af spatial koncentration opstår, vedvarer eller opløses, hvilket giver et rigere spatio-temporalt billede end en enkelt tværsnitsanalyse tillader.
