Funktionspunktsanalyse

Funktionspunktsanalyse (FPA) kvantificerer softwarestørrelse ved at tælle forretningsfunktioner og brugerinteraktioner uafhængigt af teknologi eller programmeringssprog. Introduceret af Albrecht (1979) måler FPA leveret funktionalitet, hvilket muliggør estimering af indsats, benchmarking af produktivitet og vurdering af softwareværdi. Organisationer bruger FPA til projektkontrakter, leverandørsammenligning og porteføljestyring.
