Syntetisk Difference-in-Differences

Syntetisk Difference-in-Differences (SDID) kombinerer syntetisk kontrol og difference-in-differences tilgange for at estimere behandlingseffekter, når en politik eller intervention påvirker én enhed (land, virksomhed) på et givet tidspunkt. Introduceret af Arkhangelsky et al. (2021), forbedrer den begge metoder alene ved at bruge vægtede kombinationer af kontrolenheder til at matche behandlede enheders præ-behandlings-trends og niveauer. Dette giver mere præcise og robuste estimater end klassisk DiD eller syntetisk kontrol.
