Spatial Synthetic Control Method

Spatial Synthetic Control Method tilpasser det klassiske syntetiske kontrolrammeværk til situationer, hvor behandlede og donorenheder defineres ved geografisk placering. Ved at konstruere en vægtet kombination af rumligt nærliggende eller sammenlignelige kontrolregioner estimerer metoden, hvad der ville være sket med et behandlet område fraværende interventionen, samtidig med at der eksplicit tages højde for rumlige spillovers, rumlig autokorrelation og naboskab mellem enheder.
