Test dels signes
El test dels signes és el test d'hipòtesi no paramètric més senzill per decidir si la mediana de les diferències aparellades —o d'una sola mostra— difereix significativament d'un valor hipotetitzat. Formalitzat per W. J. Dixon i A. M. Mood el 1946, imposa gairebé cap supòsit de distribució i es pot aplicar a qualsevol dada on les diferències individuals es puguin classificar com a positives o negatives.
