Una Xarxa Neuronal Re-entrant Multilingüe (Multilingual RNN) aplica l'arquitectura estàndard de RNN — que processa seqüències pas a pas mantenint un estat ocult — a dades que abasten dos o més idiomes. Entrenant sobre corpus multilingües o compartint paràmetres entre idiomes, el model aprèn representacions de seqüències translingües útils per a tasques de traducció, etiquetatge, classificació i modelatge de llenguatge.
