功能点分析（FPA）通过统计业务功能和用户交互来量化软件规模，它独立于技术或编程语言。由Albrecht（1979）提出，FPA衡量已交付的功能，从而实现工作量估算、生产力基准测试和软件价值评估。组织使用FPA进行项目合同、供应商比较和投资组合管理。
