置信区间(CI)是根据样本数据计算得出的一个值范围,它可能包含真实的总体参数。该概念由Jerzy Neyman于1937年提出,它提供的是一个区间估计而非单一的点估计,同时包含了观测值及其不确定性。标准的95%置信区间是一种稳健、直观的替代p值的方法,用于传达研究结果。
