比较模型检验研究是一种定量设计，其中使用拟合指数、似然比检验或信息准则来系统地检验和比较两个或多个理论上合理的模型——或者在不同组或条件下评估的同一模型。目标是确定哪个模型能更好地表示数据结构，或者模型的参数结构在比较组之间是否保持不变。
