ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคแบบเบย์ (Bayesian Cronbach's alpha) ประยุกต์ใช้อินเฟอเรนซ์แบบเบย์ในการประมาณค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความสอดคล้องภายในแบบดั้งเดิม ทำให้ได้การแจกแจงภายหลัง (posterior distribution) ของค่าแอลฟาอย่างสมบูรณ์ แทนที่จะเป็นเพียงค่าประมาณจุดเดียว ซึ่งช่วยให้นักวิจัยสามารถหาปริมาณความไม่แน่นอนด้วยช่วงความเชื่อถือได้ (credible intervals) และรวมความรู้เดิม (prior knowledge) เข้าไปได้ ทำให้การประเมินความน่าเชื่อถือมีข้อมูลมากขึ้น โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างขนาดเล็กหรือกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่มีการแจกแจงแบบเบ้
