การวิเคราะห์วาทกรรมหลายรูปแบบ (Multimodal Discourse Analysis) เป็นวิธีการศึกษาการสร้างความหมายผ่านการบูรณาการของรูปแบบการสื่อสารหลายรูปแบบ ได้แก่ ภาษา ภาพ เสียง ท่าทาง และการจัดวางเชิงพื้นที่ แนวทางนี้พัฒนาโดย Gunther Kress, Theo Van Leeuwen และคณะ โดยตระหนักว่าในการสื่อสารร่วมสมัย ตั้งแต่วิดีโอ เว็บไซต์ ไปจนถึงห้องเรียน ความหมายมักไม่ได้ถูกส่งผ่านด้วยภาษาเพียงอย่างเดียว การวิเคราะห์หลายรูปแบบจะเปิดเผยว่าความหมายที่ซับซ้อนถูกสร้างขึ้นได้อย่างไร โดยการวิเคราะห์ว่าข้อความ ภาพ เสียง และรูปแบบอื่นๆ ทำงานร่วมกันอย่างไร
