Developed by Jeffrey Parker and Steven Asher in 1993 and expanded by Bukowski and colleagues, the FQQ measures dimensions of friendship quality including companionship (spending time together), conflict, help and guidance, intimate disclosure, closeness, loyalty, and conflict resolution.
