Tatizo la Linganisho Nyingi

Tatizo la linganisho nyingi (pia huitwa tatizo la wingi) hutokea kwa sababu ukifanya vipimo 100 vya dhahania kwa α = 0.05, unatarajia matokeo ya uongo chanya ~5 kwa bahati tu, hata kama dhahania zote sifuri ni za kweli. Njia za kusahihisha—Bonferroni, kiwango cha makosa cha ugunduzi wa uongo cha Benjamini-Hochberg (FDR), na zingine—hurekebisha kiwango cha umuhimu au maadili ya p ili kudhibiti viwango vya makosa.
