Nadharia ya Usumbufu ya Moller-Plesset

Nadharia ya usumbufu ya Möller-Plesset ni njia ya baada ya Hartree-Fock inayorekebisha kwa utaratibu rejeleo la HF kwa kutibu uhusiano wa elektroni kama usumbufu. Ilianzishwa mwaka 1934, nadharia ya MP inatoa makadirio sahihi zaidi ya nishati (MP2, MP3, MP4, ...) kwa kupanua nishati ya uhusiano katika viwango vya usumbufu.
