Njia ya Uenezaji wa Mfumo (Beam Propagation Method - BPM)
Njia ya Uenezaji wa Mfumo (BPM) ni mbinu ya kukokotoa kwa kuiga uenezaji wa mihimili ya macho kupitia miundo inayobadilika polepole na kuongoza kwa upole. Iliyoundwa na Feit na Fleck mwaka 1978, BPM hutumia dhana ya kiparaksia (paraxial approximation) kupunguza milinganyo kamili ya wimbi la vectori kuwa milinganyo ya kipekee au ya envelope ya vectori, ikiruhusu uigaji wa ufanisi wa waveguides, optics jumuishi, na vifaa vya fotoni.
