Kipimo cha Brix
Kipimo cha Brix hupima yabisi yaliyoyeyuka (hasa sukari) katika juisi ya matunda kwa kutumia refractometry, mbinu ya macho isiyoharibu. Ilianzishwa na Carl Zeiss katika karne ya 19 na kuimarishwa na AOAC, ni kiwango cha sekta kinachotumiwa kutathmini ukomavu na ubora wa matunda katika kilimo na usindikaji baada ya kuvuna.
