Uchanganuzi wa kifilojeni wa Kibayes hutumia nadharia ya Bayes na sampuli ya mnyororo wa Markov Monte Carlo (MCMC) kukadiria usambazaji wa uwezekano wa nyuma juu ya miti ya kifilojeni na vigezo vya mfumo kwa kuzingatia data ya mpangilio iliyoonekana.
