Multicenter Case-Control Study
En multicenter fall-kontrollstudie är en observationsdesign som identifierar individer som har utvecklat en sjukdom (fall) och sjukdomsfria jämförelsegrupper (kontroller) från två eller flera studieplatser samtidigt. Genom att samla rekrytering över sjukhus, kliniker eller geografiska regioner uppnår designen större urvalsstorlekar, fångar upp exponeringsvariabilitet över bredare populationer och förbättrar den statistiska styrka som behövs för att upptäcka måttliga odds-kvoter för sällsynta eller heterogena sjukdomar.
