Polisomnografija

Polisomnografija (PSG) je sveobuhvatna višekanalna metoda fiziološkog snimanja koja istovremeno beleži električnu aktivnost mozga, pokrete očiju, mišićni tonus, respiratorni napor, zasićenost kiseonikom, srčanu frekvenciju i pokrete udova tokom spavanja. Prvi put sistematizovana od strane Rechtschaffena i Kalesa 1968. godine, polisomnografija je zlatni standard za dijagnostikovanje poremećaja spavanja, karakterizaciju arhitekture spavanja i procenu kvaliteta i organizacije spavanja kod ljudi, a sve više i kod veterinarskih vrsta.
