Empirijska talasna transformacija

Empirijska talasna transformacija (EWT) je metoda dekompozicije talasnih oblika vođena podacima koja automatski definiše talasne baze prilagođene frekvencijskom sadržaju signala. Uvedena od strane Jérémie Gillesa (2013), ona prevazilazi ključno ograničenje klasičnih talasnih oblika—koji koriste fiksne, unapred definisane baze—konstruisanjem prilagođenih talasnih oblika iz sopstvenog spektra signala. Ovaj adaptivni pristup je posebno efikasan za analizu nestacionarnih signala sa složenim, višekomponentnim strukturama.
