Korelacioni koeficijent tačka-biserijalne korelacije

Korelacioni koeficijent tačka-biserijalne korelacije (r_pb) meri jačinu i smer linearne povezanosti između jedne prirodno dichotomous promenljive (kodirane 0/1) i jedne kontinuirane promenljive. To je poseban slučaj Pirsnovog koeficijenta korelacije momentima proizvoda, formalno izvedenog od strane Tate-a (1954) u časopisu Annals of Mathematical Statistics, i predstavlja standardni indeks koji se koristi u psihometrijskoj analizi stavki, studijama validnosti i bilo kom istraživačkom kontekstu gde je binarna grupna promenljiva povezana sa kontinuiranim ishodom.
