Stohastično linearno programiranje — Optimizacija pod neizvesnošću sa slučajnim parametrima

Stohastično linearno programiranje (SLP) proširuje klasično linearno programiranje na situacije gde su neki parametri modela — troškovi, potražnja, dostupnost resursa — neizvesni i modelovani kao slučajne promenljive. Optimizacijom očekivanih troškova preko raspodele verovatnoće scenarija, SLP proizvodi odluke koje ostaju primenljive i skoro optimalne u nizu mogućih budućnosti, umesto za jedno pretpostavljeno stanje sveta.
