Agentno-zasnovano dinamičko programiranje (ABDP) ugrađuje Bellmanov okvir dinamičkog programiranja unutar pojedinačnih agenata agentno-zasnovanog modela, omogućavajući svakom agentu da rešava sekvencijalne, višestepene probleme odlučivanja koristeći unazad indukciju ili iteraciju funkcije vrednosti. Rezultat je populacija optimizujućih agenata čije interakcije generišu emergentno ponašanje na nivou sistema.
