Hibridna analiza sposobnosti procesa kombinuje dve ili više tehnika procene sposobnosti — na primer, klasične indekse (Cp, Cpk) sa Fazi logikom, bootstrap inferencijom ili Bejzovskom procenom — kako bi se prevazišla ograničenja svakog pojedinačnog pristupa. Integrisanjem komplementarnih metoda, ona pruža robusnije izjave o sposobnosti za procese koji nisu normalno raspodeljeni, asimetrične ili kratkotrajne procese, gde bi standardni indeksi sami doveli u zabludu odluke o kvalitetu.
