Studim Ekologjik Bayesian — Hartëzimi i Sëmundjeve dhe Regresioni Ekologjik Bayesian
Një studim ekologjik Bayesian kombinon dizajnin vëzhgues në nivel grupi të epidemiologjisë ekologjike klasike me modelimin hierarkik Bayesian. Në vend që të trajtojë normat e sëmundjeve si sasi fikse, ai vendos shpërndarje paraprake mbi efektet latente hapësinore ose kohore — duke përdorur zakonisht shpërndarjen paraprake të konvolucionit Besag-York-Mollié (BYM) — dhe përditëson besimet nga të dhënat e grumbulluara për të prodhuar harta pasuese të rrezikut të sëmundjeve, vlerësime të lëmuara të normave dhe intervale besueshmërie për asociacionet ekologjike midis ekspozimeve dhe rezultateve.
