Studim Ekologjik — Studim Epidemiologjik Agregat
Një studim ekologjik është një dizajn epidemiologjik vëzhgues në të cilin njësia e analizës është një grup ose popullatë — një vend, rajon, qytet ose periudhë kohore — në vend të një individi. Ekspozimet dhe rezultatet maten si agregatë (norma, proporcione ose mesatare) dhe më pas korrelohen ndërmjet grupeve për të gjeneruar ose vlerësuar hipoteza rreth asociacioneve në nivel popullate midis faktorëve të rrezikut dhe sëmundjeve.
