Skórovanie koherencie textu vypočítava skóre koherencie na úrovni dokumentu pomocou strojového učenia, zakorenené v lokálnom koherenčnom modeli založenom na entitách, ktorý predstavili Barzilay a Lapata (2008). Meria, ako dobre vety textu spolu súvisia, pomocou modelu entity-grid, grafového prístupu alebo modelu založeného na transformátoroch.
