Detecția slab supervizată a obiectelor (WSOD) antrenează detectoare de obiecte utilizând doar etichete la nivel de imagine — indicând ce clase de obiecte apar într-o imagine — fără a necesita adnotări costisitoare cu casete de delimitare. Formulele de Învățare cu Multiple Instanțe (MIL) permit modelului să descopere locația probabilă a fiecărei clase de obiecte doar din semnale de clasificare, reducând dramatic costul adnotării.
