Mașină Boltzmann Restricționată (RBM)
O Mașină Boltzmann Restricționată este un model probabilistic generativ cu două straturi, compus din unități binare vizibile (observate) și ascunse (latente), conectate printr-un graf bipartit nedirecționat, fără conexiuni în cadrul aceluiași strat. Introdusă inițial ca „Harmonium” de Paul Smolensky în 1986 și revitalizată puternic de Geoffrey Hinton și Ruslan Salakhutdinov în lucrarea lor de referință din 2006 în Science, RBM-urile au devenit un element fundamental istoric pentru pre-antrenarea greedy strat cu strat a Rețelelor de Credință Profunde (Deep Belief Networks), relansând interesul pentru rețelele neuronale profunde după ani de stagnare.
