Bayesiansk Mann-Whitney U-test

Den bayesianske Mann-Whitney U-testen er en ikke-parametrisk bayesiansk prosedyre for å sammenligne to uavhengige grupper når data er ordinale eller ikke-normalfordelte kontinuerlige. I stedet for en binær avgjørelse om forkastelse/ikke-forkastelse, kvantifiserer den den relative evidensen for null- og alternativhypotesene gjennom en Bayes-faktor, noe som gjør at forskere kan konkludere til fordel for enten hypotese eller uttrykke usikkerhet.
