Matriselementmetoden

Matrix Element Method (MEM) er en kraftig analyseteknikk som utnytter kvantefeltteori-amplitudiner for å trekke ut maksimal fysikkinformasjon fra individuelle hendelser. Ved å sammenligne observerte detektorsignaturer med prediksjoner fra matrixelementer, gir MEM upartiske, modell-uavhengige målinger med utmerket teoretisk presisjon og sensitivitet for ny fysikk.
