En svakt veiledet diffusjonsmodell trener eller betinger en denoising diffusion probabilistic model ved hjelp av grove, støyende eller ufullstendige veiledningssignaler – som klasseetiketter på bildenivå, bounding boxes eller folkefinansierte annoteringer – i stedet for pikselnøyaktig ground truth. Dette muliggjør generative og diskriminative utdata av høy kvalitet i annoteringsknappe omgivelser der fullstendig merking er ugjennomførbar eller uforholdsmessig dyr.
