AlexNet

AlexNet er et dypt konvolusjonelt nevralt nettverk (CNN) introdusert av Alex Krizhevsky, Ilya Sutskever og Geoffrey Hinton i 2012. Det vant ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC 2012) med en topp-5 feilrate på 15,3 %, over 10 prosentpoeng bedre enn nummer to, og gjenopplivet bred interesse for dyp læring. Arkitekturen introduserte eller populariserte flere teknikker — ReLU-aktiveringer, dropout-regularisering og trening med flere GPU-er — som ble standard praksis i feltet.
