Jord-struktur-interaksjon

Jord-struktur-interaksjonsanalyse (SSI) tar hensyn til den dynamiske koblingen mellom en struktur og dens bærende fundamentjord, og erkjenner at jorden ikke er uendelig stiv. Formalisert av Veletsos i 1974, viser denne tilnærmingen hvordan fundamentets ettergivenhet, strålingsdemping og kinematiske effekter modifiserer strukturens seismiske respons sammenlignet med antakelser om fast fundament.
