Helningsstabilitet (Bishop-Janbu)

Bishop- og Janbu-metodene er grenselikvektsmetoder for analyse av helningsstabilitet, som beregner sikkerhetsfaktoren mot skjærsvikt langs en potensiell glippflate. Metodene, utviklet av Bishop (1955) og Janbu (1954), er fortsatt de mest brukte verktøyene innen geoteknikk for vurdering av skjærte skråninger, fyllinger og naturlige fjellsider.
