Remote Document Collection — Digitale Archivering en Documentretrieval
Remote Document Collection is een techniek voor gegevensverzameling waarbij onderzoekers geschreven, visuele of multimediadocumenten uit digitale bronnen verzamelen — online archieven, institutionele repositories, cloudopslag, e-mail of overheidsdatabases — zonder dat fysieke aanwezigheid vereist is. Het breidt de klassieke documentanalyse uit naar digitale omgevingen, maakt toegang mogelijk tot geografisch verspreid of beperkt materiaal en is daardoor bijzonder waardevol voor grootschalige, cross-nationale of tijdsgevoelige onderzoeksprojecten.
