Veldgebaseerde Kritische Discourse Analyse (Veldgebaseerde KDA) integreert Pierre Bourdieu's sociologische concept van het veld — gestructureerde sociale ruimtes met hun eigen regels, kapitaal en posities — met de linguïstische en kritische instrumenten van Kritische Discourse Analyse. De benadering onderzoekt hoe taal machtsrelaties construeert, legitimeert en betwist binnen specifieke institutionele of sociale velden, waarbij teksten in hun bredere sociologische context worden geplaatst in plaats van discours geïsoleerd te behandelen.
