Vergelijkende Semiotische Analyse
Vergelijkende semiotische analyse onderzoekt hoe tekens, symbolen en betekenisgevende systemen opereren in twee of meer contexten — zoals verschillende culturen, historische perioden, mediaplatforms of sociale groepen. Door semiotische kaders (denotatie, connotatie, mythe, codes, paradigma's) systematisch toe te passen op parallelle corpora, onthullen onderzoekers hoe hetzelfde teken verschillende betekenissen produceert, hoe ideologieën anders worden gecodeerd, of hoe symbolische structuren convergeren en divergeren tussen settings.
