Polytome Differentieel Item Functioneren (Polytome DIF)
Polytome differentieel item functioneren detecteert of een test- of enquête-item met meer dan twee geordende antwoordcategorieën (bijv. Likert-schalen, gedeeltelijke-credit-items) anders functioneert tussen groepen zoals geslacht, etniciteit of taalachtergrond, na controle voor het gemeten latente kenmerk. Het breidt klassieke binaire DIF-methoden uit naar ordinale antwoordformaten.
