Bos inventarisatie sampling
Bos inventarisatie sampling is een systematische benadering om boskenmerken zoals houtvolume, soortensamenstelling en biomassa te schatten door een representatieve subset van bomen te onderzoeken in plaats van uitputtende tellingen uit te voeren. De methode, ontwikkeld door Loetsch en collega's in de jaren zeventig, past statistische steekproeftheorie toe op bosbeoordeling en vormt wereldwijd de basis voor duurzaam bosbeheer en monitoring van hulpbronnen.
