Kwaliteitsfunctionaliteitsontwikkeling — House of Quality
Kwaliteitsfunctionaliteitsontwikkeling (QFD) is een gestructureerde methode om klantbehoeften — de stem van de klant — te vertalen naar specifieke technische vereisten in elke fase van product- of dienstontwikkeling. QFD, ontstaan in Japan in de jaren zestig, maakt gebruik van een matrixgebaseerd hulpmiddel, de House of Quality, om klantprioriteiten zichtbaar te maken, ze te koppelen aan technische parameters, afwegingen bloot te leggen en de focus te behouden op wat klanten werkelijk waarderen gedurende het ontwerpproces.
