Korelasi Peringkat Kendall's Tau yang Teguh
Kendall's tau yang teguh menganggarkan persatuan monotonik antara dua pemboleh ubah menggunakan kiraan kesepakatan berasaskan peringkat, tetapi menambah prosedur standard dengan pengesanan pencilan atau Winsorisasi supaya sebilangan kecil pemerhatian ekstrem tidak dapat mendistorsi keputusan. Ia sesuai apabila data adalah ordinal atau selanjar dan pencilan bivariat adalah munasabah.
