Automata Sel Deterministik — Simulasi dinamik diskret berasaskan peraturan pada grid

Automata Sel Deterministik (DCA) ialah kaedah simulasi yang memodelkan evolusi sistem kompleks melalui grid sel yang teratur, setiap sel menyimpan keadaan diskret, dikemas kini secara serentak pada setiap langkah masa mengikut peraturan deterministik tetap yang dikenakan pada sel dan jiran-jirannya. Hasilnya boleh dihasilkan semula sepenuhnya dengan mengambil kira keadaan awal dan set peraturan yang sama.
