Model Aliran Trafik (Model LWR)

Model Lighthill-Whitham-Richards (LWR) ialah model aliran trafik makroskopik yang menganggap trafik sebagai bendalir termampat, menggunakan pemuliharaan kenderaan dan hubungan aliran-ketumpatan. Diperkenalkan secara bebas oleh Lighthill dan Whitham (1955) serta Richards (1956), model ini meramalkan perambatan gelombang trafik, pembentukan kesesakan, dan tingkah laku kesesakan di lebuh raya.
