Svērtā PageRank paplašina klasisko PageRank algoritmu tīkliem, kuros savienojumiem ir atšķirīga stiprība vai biežums, sadalot nozīmi proporcionāli gan ienākošo, gan izejošo savienojumu svaram, nevis uzskatot visus saites vienādi. Tas padara to ievērojami informatīvāku nekā binārais PageRank jebkurā tīklā, kurā savienojuma stiprība ir svarīga.
