네트워크 기능 가상화 (NFV)
네트워크 기능 가상화(NFV)는 방화벽, 로드 밸런서, 게이트웨이, 패킷 검사 등 전통적인 네트워크 기능을 독점 하드웨어 장치 대신 상용 서버에서 실행되는 소프트웨어로 구현하는 패러다임입니다. ETSI(2012)에서 도입한 NFV는 클라우드 인프라를 활용하고 네트워크 서비스의 신속한 배포를 가능하게 하여 자본 및 운영 비용을 절감합니다. SDN과 결합된 NFV는 온디맨드 서비스 생성 및 네트워크 슬라이싱을 가능하게 합니다. 현재 5G 및 클라우드 네이티브 네트워크 아키텍처의 핵심입니다.
