파일럿 가중 표집 — 파일럿 연구 단계에서의 가중 표집
파일럿 가중 표집(pilot weighted sampling)은 소규모 예비 연구 내에서 가중(불균등 확률) 표집을 적용하여 전체 조사에 자원을 투입하기 전에 핵심 설계 매개변수(분산 구성요소, 설계 효과, 최적 층 가중치)를 추정하는 방식이다. 연구자들은 파일럿 연구에서 차등 포함 확률을 사용하여 전체 파일럿 비용을 낮게 유지하면서도 희귀하거나 변동성이 큰 하위 집단에 대해 더 정확한 매개변수 추정치를 얻는다. 이 결과는 본조사의 가중치 부여 방식과 표본 크기 할당에 직접적인 정보를 제공한다.
